C# Software Developer: Fully remote.

As a result of continued ambition and expansion, a leading banking technology company with a Global presence are seeking a C# Software Developer to work on exciting enterprise applications.

This position is remote-first which means the successful candidate can choose between working from home, working int he office or working completely remotely. The choice is yours!

Job Overview;

Working as part of an Agile development team, the successful candidate will enjoy much autonomy and will work on a combination of enhancing the existing enterprise software systems and greenfield projects. The work itself could be described as full-stack and in enterprise web environments using modern technologies and techniques. The Agile team is full of friendly, enthusiastic developers and testers, ensuring that the work and work environment are both very good.

Experience/Knowledge Sought;

First and foremost, enthusiasm and motivation are sought.

They aren#39&t expecting #39&hit the ground running#39& knowledge in every single area – they have a very open mind and philosophy when it comes to training and upskilling.

In terms of the technology stack, the development team are predominantly using the Microsoft Technology Stack. As such, candidates with any knowledge in C#, Asp.Net (MVC) SQL Server and JavaScript/JQuery will be very attractive.

Bonus skills;

Whilst C#/Asp.Net MVC, SQL and JavaScript are the core skills required for success in the role, there are plenty of other technologies which are being used and which would make you standout. These bonus skills indicate the exposure and training you can expect in cutting edge technologies and include, .Net Zero, Asp.Net Core, Frontend JS frameworks, RabbitMQ, NoSQL, SOAP/RESTful APIs and experience deploying to the Azure cloud.

Role Overview;

Working as part of an Agile Scrum team and after a training period, the successful candidate will be designing and developing new modules for a best-in-class enterprise application. At its core this is a hands-on development role and will suit people who get their kicks out of creating good, clean code in a friendly, Agile environment.

Other facets of the job include;

- 2 hours every week given over to self-learning and development online

- Liaising with pre-sales, implementation and support team members

- Providing task estimation to the development team leader and accurate progress reports to the development team leader

- Supporting team members, sharing best practices and collaborating with colleagues

- Unit test your code and target high coverage
