As a Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer, you#39&ll be working in cross-functional teams that are responsible for building new features and maintaining existing services. Your role will involve acting mainly as a developer of backend services but will involve frontend too.
The Software being built is primarily written in Ruby and within Ruby on Rails. There is a combination of full stack Ruby on Rails applications and REST API#39&s with SQL and NoSQL databases. Whilst the user interface is built using React.
You#39&ll be working in an agile manner which practices TDD and Pair Programming and will be ensuring the highest level of code quality, security, privacy and appropriate test coverage is maintained. And you#39&ll need to know the basics of managing infrastructure using AWS.
Finally, and last but no means least, you#39&ll be open and eager to learn from your colleagues and be willing to help others too.
Skills sought in a nutshell;
* Ruby / Ruby on Rails
* Solid Object-Oriented programming skills
* SQL / NoSQL knowledge
Beneficial but non-essential skills;
* Experience working with React applications
* Gatsby or Next.js
* Experience working in fast-paced environments
