Backend Developer & Web Developer positions

My client is a leading software house in the insurance space with offices in Islington, London. As a result of increased demand, they are actively hiring for 2 developers - a Backend Developer and a Web Developer.

If successful at interview, you can expect to enjoy a remote first work-life balance. There will be an expectation of some office work in the future with this likely being no more than 1-3 times per month at most. As such, the roles will appeal to developers who enjoy a split between remote and office work.

The methodology used is Agile and the team currently has around a dozen developers. The development team enjoy a combination of maintaining and enhancing industry-leading solutions and working on building brand new solutions and features.


The 2 positions share similarities in the technology stack used - C#, Asp.Net MVC, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular, React, WCF, XML and TSQL. The differences lie within how you, as a developer, prefer to work and what you are best at. E.g., if you prefer Backend Development, most of your time will be spent on developing such solutions, or, if you enjoy coding on the frontend as much or more, you#39&ll be more suited to the Web Developer. Equally, if you enjoy working on the full stack, then you can expect duties in accordance with this.

Aside from the above-mentioned areas, if you have knowledge in areas such as, .Net Core, Power BI, SQL Admin, XSLT and PowerShell this would be considered a bonus,
