Scientific Project Manager
Based in Cambridge our client is developing a range of bio-therapeutics to help meet the demand of the next generation of drugs to compete with monoclonal antibodies. Their technology is a novel protein scaffold based on a human protease inhibitor and offers key benefits such as smaller size, ease of formatting and high expression yields.
Due to strong growth in their in-house and collaborative drug development pipeline, they’re seeking a driven individual to join their Project Management team. The Project Manager role will be responsible for working closely with the research team to support the delivery of both inhouse and partnered projects on time and to budget.
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day project management and completion of in-house and partnered programmes with global partners. You will work as part of a growing team, working closely with the scientific project leaders to develop project plans and manage the delivery of those plans to time, cost, and quality. You will report to the Chief Scientific Officer.
What do you need?
+ Qualified to at least degree level in a life science subject and have a minimum of 5 years’ project management or equivalent experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a good understanding of the drug development process.
+ Demonstrate a strong track record in project management, time management, be organised, and be effective at prioritising workloads.
+ The ability to work and communicate effectively with multifunctional teams, both inside and outside the client.
+The ability to build strong working relationships and to collaborate and influence colleagues and partners
