Equipment Calibration & Maintenance Engineer
My client is an emerging cancer immunotherapy company developing cell-based treatments for cancer and severe viral infections. The company has a clear vision and strategy in making a mainstream therapy for eradicating cancer. They are developing safer, cheaper, consistent, and durable drugs for haematological and solid tumours using ground-breaking technology.
They#39&re now looking for an Equipment Calibration & Maintenance Engineer to support the facilities department.
What will you do?
Providing support to the facilities department, you will be responsible for routine preventative maintenance and calibration of existing and new laboratory and cleanroom equipment. This includes the completion of the appropriate documentation, paperwork, and updating the relevant computerised system to ensure traceability and scheduling of activities.
The post holder will work with and support the Quality, Manufacturing and Product Development teams to ensure operational excellence.
This is a full-time, permanent position (37.5 hours per week) that is lab/office based. Some ad-hoc irregular working hours will be required.
What do you need?
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a GMP regulated environment
• Experience in providing facilities support working within a life sciences environment
• Experience in the calibration of temperature-controlled equipment and air handling systems will be positively advantageous.
• Experience in using Word and Excel spreadsheets.
