As a result of a continued ambition and expansion my client, a software house with a great reputation, are actively seeking a Systems Administrator / DevOps Engineer.
This is predominantly a Linux (Ubuntu) SysAdmin role with the anticipation that the level of DevOps in the role will rise incrementally.

For over 10 years, my client has been delivering state-of-the-art Software as a Service solutions to the insurance industry. They are known for producing high performing, easy to use systems and moreover they have a refreshing attitude towards work and are known for treating people well.
The Role;
This is a busy, varied and diverse role and will suit candidates who enjoy keeping up to date with the new tech and best practices. The core areas of the role are: -
* Be responsible for all system infrastructure, database administration, infrastructure security and server configuration and ensuring that industry standards are being met.
* Maintenance of 3rd party services such as New Relic, DataDog, Alert Logic and AWS; and to provide technical support for those services.
* Ensuring secure development environments to aid Continuous Integration and deployment of client software.
* Setting up and maintaining the production and client testing environments; then developing the infrastructure and improving configuration management tools.
* Monitoring and analysing data in relation to system administration and rectifying issues.
