IT Support Analyst

My client is one of the UK#39&s biggest and most reputed delivery companies. As a result of increased demand and ambition, they are seeking to expand their IT function and as part of this are hiring for an IT Support Analyst.

The client are considering candidates with a range of experience. As such, for individuals with low or no IT experience, but looking to break into the IT sector, this would be an excellent opportunity.

The IT Support Analyst role is mostly office based (Stafford) but with some flexibility to work from home.

Please note that due to the primary site location not being situated next to public transport facilities, access to a vehicle is required.

About the Role;

Working in a team of 5 other IT Support Analysts, you#39&ll be working in a primarily ticket-based environment and will be supporting a range of business applications. Your key role will be in incident management, the deployment of hardware and software and owning the delivery of mini-projects.

This promises to a multi-faceted role in a pleasant, harmonious and positive team environment.

Skills Sought;

* Strong troubleshooting and analytical ability
* Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange Online and on-prem environments
* Windows server networks knowledge and an understanding of networking principles such as LAN#39&s, WAN#39&s, DHCP and DNS.
* Knowledge of Cyber Security and GDPR
* Effective communication and customer-facing skills

Bonus Skills;

* Barcoding Systems experience (handheld and fixed)
* ITIL qualification and/or CompTIA
* Familiarity with programming, JSON and Web API#39&s

Shift Patterns:

Monday - Friday 6AM - 2PM / 8AM - 4PM / 2PM - 10PM

There is also some work on Saturdays on a 6AM - 2PM / 8AM - 4PM basis, with on-call work once every 5 weeks.
