Based in Newcastle, our client are a small but expanding research organisation who have developed cutting edge technology to enable speedy testing for adverse immunological responses to compounds, chemicals and drugs. The company have a patented product, with clients across the globe and are currently increasing their headcount with the addition of a scientific manager to manage one aspect of their current technology set.

Candudates should have the following experience;

+ PhD or Msc in cell biology, or molecular based subjects
+ Strong experience working with tissue cultures, sectioning, and staining
+ General development of primary-cell lines.
+ Experience of immunology or immunohistochemistry
+ Experience of cytokine analysis and mRNA expression would be beneficial.

The role will involve managing a small team, and will combine both laboratory work, study management and man-management.
