Head of Enterprise Managed Cyber Services (Hybrid, Cardiff)

My client is a leading IT Consultancy specialising in Performance Management, Cyber Security and Managed Services

As part of their plans for growth, they are looking to hire someone to head up to managed cyber services division. The successful candidate will be a key player in the business and will have responsibility for leading the operational management of a growing number of enterprise-level managed cyber services clients.

The role has a place on the company Leadership team, helping to define strategy and promote initiatives that build on existing capability to create a highly efficient Cyber Operations team capable of delivering an exceptional customer experience across the cyber services offerings.

Overview of the Role;

* Provide the strategic direction for the operational Cyber services function and contribute to the 5year strategic business plan, driving the associated change plan

* Take responsibility for financial management, budgeting & cost optimisation

* Account Ownership of all Enterprise & Public Sector cyber operations team of first line support, second line analysts, third line specialist employees

* Create processes and staff upskilling initiatives to enable delivery of new Service Offerings

* Manage staff performance reviews, quarterly reviews and any people management issues

* Oversee the adoption of managed cyber services into operation

* Drive continual service improvement, encouraging cyber analysts to make best use of the tools and methodologies at their disposal

* Ensure the Cyber Operations team are providing a good level of customer service (via incident handling, reporting, service reviews and escalations)

* Work with the commercial team to ensure that managed services are operating within agreed budgets

* Proven ability to lead customer escalations and incidents whilst dealing with competing priorities

Experience Sought;

* Proven Capability in managing multiple delivery customers up to C-Level stakeholders
* Proven experience in delivering cyber-focused managed services
* Desire to design, build and deliver market leading cyber service operations
* Proven experience of managing and/or delivering a security operations centre

* Degree-level qualification or appropriate cyber experience (CISSP, CISM, or similar is preferrable)
* Highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
* Proven Capability in managing multiple delivery customers up to C-Level stakeholders
