As a result of continued ambition, expansion and demand, my client is looking for 2 PHP Developers.

The company predominantly provides an e-commerce platform for home furnishings and is seen as one of the leading retailers in doing so.

Happily, the team enjoys a great deal of autonomy and trust and as a result it’s a creative, harmonious environment and would suit those who enjoy learning new skills/technologies and applying them to real-world projects.

Skills & Requirements;

* Good knowledge of PHP (ideally in MVC frameworks)
* Strong object-oriented programming knowledge
* JavaScript/jQuery/ KnockoutJS
* HTML5, LESS & CSS knowledge
* Solid understanding of responsive design
* Knowledge of GIT for version control
* Experience of using MySQL
* Good time management and organisation skills
* Enjoys learning!

Beneficial;

* Experience in Magento – ideally Magento2, but training can be provided.


Snap-shot of Responsibilities;

* Work with Magento 2 platform; to develop new functionality for the e-commerce sites (thorough training in Magento 2 will be provided; this isn’t a must have skill to be considered)
* Implement backend PHP changes
* Implement front-end changes
* Developing modules using best practices
* Thoroughly test and validate code across various browsers and devices

Beneficial;

* Experience in Magento – ideally Magento2, but training can be provided.
