North Point are an expanding specialist within the STEM sector who are currently looking to add several new consultants to our team. We work in a range of scientific and IT focused disciplines and have a long history of providing complex recruitment solutions to UK and European clients large and small.
Trainee Recruitment Consultants
The Role
We are looking for junior consultants to join our team and are considering candidates from previous B2B sales backgrounds who have an interest and passion to work within the recruitment sector. You will work across all aspects of the recruitment life-cycle including developing new business, account management of existing clients, and sourcing candidates for roles. The role is extremely varied and encompasses extensive time and project management, phone sales, negotiation, and large amounts of customer contact exposure. We offer amazing opportunities for financial progression, and the opportunity to develop a permanent career in recruitment.
Skills
Candidates should have most of the following skills;

Extensive B2B experience with a large portion of your time spent influencing over the phone.

Strong sales experience combined with a solid technical understanding of the sales process.

Professional manner with the ability to talk effectively to all levels of a company’s hierarchy.

Lots of personal ambition with a desire to succeed and a real financial drive.

Strength of character, tenacity and an ability to handle pressurized situations.

Intelligence, and the ability to understand complex technical disciplines.

Whilst no previous experience in recruitment is necessary, we do expect that potential candidates are aware of the nature of our industry and what is expected of them.
Salary and benefits
We offer competitive salaries starting at £20k, along-side a very-high commission structure. Salaries of over £40k are realistic in your first couple of years, with ultimate salaries above £100k being possible. In addition, we offer a range of additional benefits including sales targets, and staff incentives.
